A warm friend to some, helpful to many others and loved by everyone.
I've  always had the greatest respect for him and will miss his light-hearted humor,
especially those birthday cards.  But this was only part of his personality.  
Many of you may have had the opportunity to experience his helpfulness in fixing 
or building something for you.  Or you may have joined him in another of his passions...
BBQ's, sports, or the sandy beaches of Hawaii.  Guaranteed if you had any plants
they had been pinched, poked, prodded, watered and/or repotted, as well as, him 
leaving you with a tip to further enhance your nursery skills. 
We shall miss his presence, but our memories will always keep him close to our heart.

I believe the greatest tribute to him, will be maintaining the
high standards he represented and so strongly encouraged.
